Bayside United have announced their inaugural signing for their upcoming debut WNPL season, with Senior NTC graduate Emily Harbis joining for the 2016 season.
Harbis, a versatile young attacker, was a Sandringham SC player in her youth, but the local product has spent the last two years in the NTC program, as an integral squad member.
Her 2015 campaign saw her finish the season wth six goals, securing her position as the Senior NTC’s top goal scorer alongside Joey Cartwright.
The 17-year-old also found the back of the net six times in the 2014 season to again claim top honours at the elite-pathways club.
“Em has great ethics when it comes to the game and her training,” inaugural head coach Graham Dudley said via Facebook.
“I am looking forward to supporting her in reaching the next level of her game at Bayside.”
Harbis is the second recent former NTC member to find a new home for 2016, with Whitney Knight signing on with Galaxy United.
