Bayside United have announced Ange Durston-Ryan as their second signing for the 2016 NPLW Victoria season.
Her connection to the area runs deep, having played over 250 games for Brighton SC since starting out as a five-year-old with the club.
The 25-year-old also has vast experience in football and futsal in Victoria.
She played for the first Victorian girls team to win a Futsal Nationals championship and captained a tour to China as a teenager.
Durston-Ryan was also the first female to graduate from the Talented Officials Program and can referee at W-League level.
In recent times, she played college football in America while completing her studies.
Durston-Ryan joins from Caulfield Cobras, having played for Yanni Galanis’ side in 2015.
The season prior she played for the Casey Comets, netting seven times, and has also featured for Box Hill in top flight Victorian football.
The new signing joins NTC graduate Emily Harbis to commit to Graham Dudley’s side as Bayside embarks on its maiden season in the NPLW.
