Daniel Visevic has made another NPL Victoria move, signing with Hume City after a year-long stint with Champions Bentleigh Greens.
The versatile midfielder – capable of playing wide or through the middle – is one of the league’s most technically gifted players and his signature is a massive boost for Hume’s hopes to go one step further in 2016 after semi-final exits in both league and FFA Cup in 2015.
He began his senior career with Richmond before securing a move to Melbourne Knights as a sprightly 19-year-old.
A stint with Croatian powerhouse Dinamo Zagreb and Croatian second division club NK Lokomotiva Zagreb followed before Visevic made his second return to Kevin Bartlett Reserve in 2010.
He played a big role in Richmond’s success that season, as they topped the VPL ladder before going on to lose the Grand Final 3-0 to Green Gully.
Stints with St Albans Saints and Port Melbourne Sharks were split with a third spell with Richmond in 2012, where a second stint with the Knights in 2014 and a season with Bentleigh Greens followed.
The attacker made 27 appearances for the Greens last season, scoring two goals from his 25 starts.
The signing of Visevic adds to Hume’s additions of Jeremy Walker, Kym Harris, Michael Trigger, Ballarat Red Devils and Tom Cahill, with Marcus Schroen the only departure, moving to South Melbourne.
