Dandenong City have furthered strengthened their playing ranks with the signings of Brad Clarke from Bulleen and Daniel Visevic from Preston respectively in another mid-season coup for the club.
20 year-old Clarke returns to City having spent the 2015 NPL2 campaign at the club, winning the club’s best and fairest after making 27 league appearances over the course of that season.
A former junior at Hajduk and Doveton, he joined the Nunawading City youth set-up in 2012 and was quickly elevated into the first team, making his senior debut at Mahoneys Reserve.
After spending a lengthy time on the sidelines in 2014 he moved to Hajduk the following year and was a revelation under then head coach Aaron Healey, impressing Melbourne City in the process.
A season with the A-League Youth side saw him net twice in 20 appearances from right-back while also making his senior debut in an FFA Cup victory over the Brisbane Strikers.
He left Bundoora for Bulleen late last year and was reunited at David Barro Stadium with Healey who deployed him in a more advanced winger role, with Clarke scoring twice in 14 NPL games this term.
The Rowville Academy of Sport graduate is joined at the club by Daniel Visevic who moves to Frank Holohan Soccer Complex after a brief three-game stint with Louie Acevski’s Lions in State League One.
The 28 year-old is one of the most experienced attacking midfielders/forwards in the state and has featured for the likes of Richmond and Melbourne Knights on multiple occasions during his career.
A VPL Premiership winner with the former in 2010 and a Dockerty Cup Champion with the latter in 2014, he also won an NPL Championship with the Bentleigh Greens in 2015.
Since then his time on the park has been restricted by a shoulder injury although he is back to full fitness and reunites with former Knights and Dinamo Zagreb teammate Mate Dugandzic at City.
The pair will both be eligible to make their Hajduk debuts this Friday evening as Stuart Munro’s men travel to Kevin Bartlett Reserve to take on Visevic’s former employers Richmond.
