Northcote City FC has ushered in its 2016 NPL Victoria campaign with the unveiling of new home and away playing strips by Macron.
It is the second consecutive set of Macron playing strips worn the club in its second year with the Italian brand.
The home kit is a Macron design that will be debuted in Australia by Alex Gymnopoulos’s men and feature the traditional royal blue synonymous with the football club.
The design of the away strips have gone in a different direction in 2016, with gun metal complimenting the otherwise white kit.
Northcote will officially debut the kits on February 20 against Melbourne Victory Youth in their Round 1 PS4 NPL clash at Epping Stadium.
Macron sponsors a wide range overseas clubs such as Lazio, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Milwall, Sporting CP, Hajduk Split, Paok and Vitesse.
Domestically, the brand has a high profile partnership with A-League club Perth Glory.
It also partners with NPL Victoria clubs Melbourne Knights, Werribee City and Avondale FC, along with State League clubs Mooroolbark SC (former NSL) and Hoppers Crossing.
Other clubs across Australia include ECU Joondalup SC (WA), Brisbane City (QLD), Perth SC (WA), Bankstown United FC and Sutherland Sharks FC (both NSW).
Macron also features across a range of other sports.
