The Senior NTC will take part in the inaugural NPLW Victoria season after the FFV confirmed their participation this afternoon with the releasing of the 2016 fixture list.
The Elite Pathways outfit will however be restricted to one Wednesday night game per round, which will see the other team rotate playing two games per round.
First up for the NTC are Heidelberg United, who will have to back up an inaugural trip to the Surf Coast against Galaxy United with the mid-week fixture.
The season opener will play out at Keilor Park Recreational Reserve between Calder United and Melbourne United on Saturday the 5th of March in the round’s only clash of the new clubs.
Box Hill United and Bulleen Lions host consortium clubs Southern United (Saturday, 5th March) and Bayside United (Monday, 7th March) respectively to round off the first set of fixtures.
The pair don’t have to wait long for their first home games however as Round 2 presents both their opportunity, as Southern play Bulleen Lions while Bayside host Galaxy United.
HA Smith Reserve in Hawthorn will be Melbourne United’s home ground for 2016, although they’ll have to wait until Round 4 for their first taste of action there, with their Round 2 home fixture scheduled for Knox Regional Football Centre.
Southern United will call three grounds home for next season, with four fixtures scheduled at each of Lawton Park Reserve in Langwarrin, Dallas Brooks Park in Mornington and of course Comets Stadium in Cranbourne.
Torquay’s Banyul Warri Reserve will host Galaxy United, while Bayside are housed in the familiar setting of Kingston Heath for 2016.
