Box Hill striker Seyma Erenli has praised the club’s team spirit following her move from Ashburton, claiming that it had been a great experience so far.
Speaking after the defending champions’ first win of the season against Casey Comets last night, the Turkish international claimed her smooth transition to Wembley Park was down to the quality of the players around her.
“We’re doing great, I was really proud of our team [and the way] we came together,” she said.
“It was a great first win, I’m really proud.”
Erenli was instrumental in Box Hill’s victory last night, scoring the third goal to finish off their opponents in the 77th minute after an assist from team mate Elaina Vatcky.
“I just find that we’re jelling a lot better together and the players here are starting to understand me better,” she said.
“I’m getting balls to my feet, I’m getting balls over the top and we’re just connecting good so it’s working out a lot for me.”
