Football Federation Victoria has announced the departure of three board directors effective immediately.
Tal Karp, Sandra Lordanic and Tammi Rose have departed the board of directors, taking the number from eight to five.
The departures are shrouded in mystery with the single-sentence press release providing no explanation for their respective decisions.
The FFV has declined to comment further, but TCF believes the trio resigned due to a governance issue, which has not been relayed to staff beyond the company executive.
There appears to be no indication from FFV whether or not it plans to disclose exactly what prompted three board members to resign.
Rose was elected to the board in March 2014, Lordanic in November 2014, and Tarp in March 2015.
Lordanic and Rose were two of five directors subject to a Special General Meeting in December 2015 regarding whether “due process” had been taken in their appointments.
FFV had previously cited its gender balance at board level as a point of pride, promoting its strategy for gender equality at November 2015’s FFV Women in Football (WiFN) 21st Century Town Hall Meeting – which all three of Tarp, Lordanic and Rose hosted.
However, no formal WiFN functions had been held in the 12 months since.
FFV has also remained silent on its progress in finding a full-time CEO since applications closed in September, with Acocks still remaining in the interim role since June, while no further information has been provided about potential replacements.
