4.39pm – Bentleigh Greens sign younster Daniel Dixon from WA club Bayswater City, while Heidelberg United add Pierce Clark from South West Queensland Thunder
3:43pm – Pascoe Vale complete their Summer business with the signing of Green Gully’s Aaron Cohen, while Oakleigh Cannons have signed former Southern Stars forward Ali Hameed from South Springvale.
3:40pm – Still waiting on rosters from last season’s top three South Melbourne, Bentleigh Greens and Heidelberg United as well as other top-flight clubs in Green Gully and Richmond SC. Leaving their business late?
3:33pm – Big news from the NPL2 and Dandenong Thunder with 37-year-old former Socceroos defender Simon Colosimo joining the club for the upcoming season.
3:25pm – We get our first real taste of action from Bulleen Lions as attackers Rodrigo Covarrubias and Shayan Alinejad join the club, while Ersin Kaya (Hume City) will also ply his trade at the Veneto Club. Another former Knights player in Anthony Colosimo also joins the club.
3:21pm – Northcote City also sign Evan Batsis from Werribee, and promote youngsters Luke Gavalas and Steven Sifinos to the senior squad, while Calvin Mbarga re-joins from India.
3:12pm – The FFV have confirmed that Tom Cahill for Hume City and Jonatan Germano for Avondale FC have both been left off the club’s roster submission. The clubs have committed to the players but due to permanent residency issues, they will be unavailable to register and play until they go through.
3:10pm – Former Werribee City defender Steve Cudrig officially signs with Hume City.
3:06pm – Much like last year, the signature of Julius Davies trades hands in the final moments of the transfer window. The former Port Melbourne winger signs with Northcote City.
2:50pm – Avondale FC have completed their business for 2016 with no new inbound players, with their two international spots held by Italian Michele Crazia and Englishman Chris May.

Avondale FC is believed to have completed their off-season recruitment although rumours persist that they are in the market for an Australian-based Visa striker being targeted by two other clubs.
Bentleigh Greens’ signing of the returning Troy Ruthven was their final edition to a star-studded squad having earlier secured Perth Italia midfielder Danny Dixon who is currently on the causality list.
Bulleen Lions have not officially signed any players although former Heidelberg United goalkeeper Griffin McMaster and ex Knights pair Shayan Alinejad and Anthony Colosimo are believed to have agreed terms at David Barro Stadium.
Green Gully have finalised their recruitment with the acquisitions of former Melbourne Heart midfielder Kliment Taseski and Japanese left-back Yohei Iwasaki as exclusively revealed by TCF today.
Heidelberg United Manager George Katsakis told TCF that their squad for the upcoming season is set although the Bergers might still make a play for a striker if they have room within their Player Points/Visa spot.
Hume City have been very active of late although their capture of Hernan Espindola could have been their final signing, however Werribee City defender Steven Cudrig has been training with the club of late.
Melbourne Knights’ recent capture of Kiwi midfielder Jason Hicks from rivals South was believed to be their final signing of the summer although they started an unnamed trialist in their Friendship Cup fixture against Sydney United on Sunday.
Melbourne Victory finalised their squad for their inaugural campaign in the top flight of Victorian football with several new signings from the A.I.S and two NPL clubs joining the elite set-up.
Northcote City have allowed two current squad members to join another NPL side and have decided against signing former Heidelberg United midfielder Kosta Kanakaris. At least two new signings should be confirmed tomorrow with former player Mark McGough potentially one of them having trained with the club lately.
Pascoe Vale have been quite in the transfer market up until late, with Peter Deng and Cameron Tew joining Luka Prelevic and Yusei Kitade as new arrivals. Goalkeeper Dennys Martin has returned to the club while Spanish goalkeeper Erik Pryce will be registered in the absence of the injured Alex Pavlidis. Aaron Cohen is another player believed to have joined Vitale Ferrante’s men having featured for Green Gully last season.
Port Melbourne Sharks have signed Northcote’s Jacob Eliopoulos after he departed company with Alex Gymnopoulos men and subsequently joining former Manager Goran Lozanovski and ex-teammate Bonel Obradovic at JL Murphy Reserve.
Richmond SC are believed to have finalised their squad with the recent additions of defenders Bryan Bran and Kris Kioussis despite not signing an out-an-out replacement for Tom Cahill. Former Sharks utility Chris Grossman was training with the club but was let go by Rick Mensick while new signing Andrew Doig departed and was recently training with Northcote City.
South Melbourne are expected to be active tomorrow with two visa spots yet to be fulfilled. An unnamed Spanish midfielder is a possibility to fill a spot but a striker to compliment Milos Lujic considered a priority by the club. TCF understands Chris Taylor’s men face competition from others for his signature.
