Technically gifted, the 25-year-old made an immediate impact to life at Thunder by grabbing an assist on debut and has impressed in the weeks since. Unlucky not to score against Springvale, the Englishman has also combined well with Brandon Barnes since joining, with the two Visa players looking the goods again in 2017.

James Brown (Nunawading City)

Nunawading City are no longer the Nuna of old, with a new-look experienced side now boasting considerable pedigree. One of those faces is James Brown. The 27 year-old has been the focal point of many attacking moves. Two goals and two assists from four outings has shown his quality for Nick Dimitrakis’ vastly improved outfit which are no longer the competition’s easy-beats.

Josh Knight (Northcote City)

No stranger to the player of the month segment, Knight this time appears in the blue colours of Northcote City. Looking to get another club promoted in his time in Victoria, the Hercules captain’s performances in the middle have been a real asset for Zeljko Kuzman’s side, chipping in with two goals as well.

Vojo Milojevic (Springvale White Eagles)

Back at Springvale after initially signing with Bentleigh Greens, the speedy 21-year-old winger has gotten straight back to work, equaling his goal haul from 2016 in February after scoring a double and securing an assist in the opening round win over Goulburn before ending it by netting the crucial equaliser against Dandenong City.

Regsan Watkins (Moreland Zebras)

After some eye-catching performances in the 20s last season for Bulleen, Watkins has been given an opportunity in the seniors with Moreland Zebras and grasped it early. His physicality and ability in the front third has led to four goals and added another attacking outlet alongside the likes of Amir Osmancevic and Nic Niagioran.
