South Melbourne Womens FC have parted ways with head coach Bill Mihaloudis after 18 months.
The club currently sit second on the Women’s Premier League table, with three wins and a 0-0 draw against Sandringham, and had comeback to defeat Heidelberg United 5-2 last Saturday afternoon.
Mihaloudis led the club to the grand finals of the Women’s State Knockout Cup and the WPL in 2013, but saw his side succumb to Sandringham on both occasions.
Their form in the WPL was particularly impressive, going unbeaten for 20 games (with only two draws) while scoring over 100 goals in the process.
South has thanked Mihaloudis for his services on their Facebook page, and he will likely be temporarily replaced by goalkeeping coach Tamer Ulum.
