Daniel Visevic has departed Hume City after an injury-riddled spell with the club by agreeing terms with State League One outfit Altona Magic.
The 27-year-old forward only made four appearances for Lou Acevski’s men with a shoulder injury sustained in the opening round fixture against Richmond curtailing his time at ABD Stadium.
Magic will become Visevic’s seventh club in Victorian football and will mark the first time he is not featuring in the top flight.
A train-on player with the Melbourne Victory in the early years of the A-League, Visevic rose to prominence as a 17-year-old with Richmond in 2006 as he hit double figures in the VPL.
He then spent some time in Germany, where he trialled with then-Bundesliga title chasers Werder Bremen, before returning to Kevin Bartlett Reserve ahead of the 2007 VPL Campaign.
He then made the mid-season switch across town to the Melbourne Knights, where he was part of an impressive squad of players assembled by manager Chris Taylor.
Visevic then spent a season in Croatia where he was loaned out by Dinamo Zagreb to feeder club Lokomotiva alongside fellow Knights youngster Mate Dugandzic in a side that also featured Newcastle Jets midfielder Mateo Poljak.
His short time with the Croatian powerhouse saw him train with the likes of Luka Modric, Mario Mandzukic and Dejan Lovren.
But issues regarding player payments saw him return to Australia, where he spent a further two seasons with Richmond, whom he helped claim the 2010 VPL Premiership.
A move to newly promoted St Albans Saints followed, before once again returning to Richmond in 2012 following the Saints’ relegation from the top flight.
After spending 2013 with the Port Melbourne Sharks, Visevic returned to Knights Stadium in 2014, where he helped Andrew Marth’s men claim the Dockerty Cup.
A succesful season with Bentleigh in 2015 saw the attacker then claim the illustrious Championship crown which had eluded him in 2010, before agreeing terms with Hume City over the summer.
Visevic’s signing for Altona comes two days after the five-time VPL Champions said goodbye to veteran Marino Gasparis, who has agreed terms with Pascoe Vale.
